Big Christmas bump. There is no tougher job than teaching the disabled child. There is also no tougher job than teaching the gifted child. I think a pretty good argument can be made for the children in between.
That was a quote from the speaker at my first math conference and I have never forgotton it. The concept of leaving no child behind. (W Bush) seems to be well articulated by Jeb. Good work Summer, keep the governor's ball rolling. (And defeat Reno for all of us.)

Re your post #133 -- Thank you for your thoughtful and encouraging reply, KC.
I always enjoy reading your words of wisdom, and good to hear you, another teacher, recognize the enormity of the task of teaching students with disabilites (as well as teaching gifted students, as I know what you mean!).
As for this comment:
(And defeat Reno for all of us.)
As you know, this forum is energized enough to defeat her no matter what. LOL...
For me, it more a matter of seeing a victory for the candidate who has worked so hard to establish such an outstanding record on issues important to me. Such a win, by Gov. Bush, would be well-earned and very much deserved, IMO. Great to hear from you, KC. :)
