I think these people that jumped made the right choice, behind them was certain death, so they threw their fate to a slim chance of survival, I'm sure you begin to rationalize that some people have fallen and been blown back into a building, hit a tree and survied, hoping for a miracle they jumped. I want Ben Ladin to die 3,000 times.

As I said in an earlier post my son also survived GZ. He got through to me on a still working pay phone (before the collapses ended service) and described what he was seeing, including the falling bodies.
There is a theory among firefighters that many of those unfortunates did not jump but were following a glimpse of light through their smoke-filled offices thinking it was a stairway light. They did not know that they were stepping into space and eternity.

Please do not use the phrase people shrapnel anymore.
We all react to sudden stress and danger differently. There is no "right" way. I do wonder though; after you got through taking your pictures what did you do to help, both on the 11th and in the days after?
