September 11th actually had nothing to do with it. Back in 1998 and 1999, a very astute commentator (I can't remember who it was) predicted that the truth about the Clinton presidency would eventually come out in stages as the statutes of limitations for the various crimes expired.

His prediction was based on the fact that anyone who was so thoroughly marginal that they would stand up for Clinton would eventually want to cash in on whatever inside information they could offer to a publisher.

That's a good theory. However, none of the "tell all" books by the former Clinton "insiders" has amonted to a hill of beans, IMHO. I am waiting for the REALLY BAD Clinton crimes to be made public by former insiders. Of course, these who know the truth of the ugliest of the crimes are, no doubt, of the mafia type who know that the person who pays their bills can also get rid of them in an instant - and they likely want to keep breathing so they don't risk going public. Even Sept 11th and the lure of book money won't allow most Clinton Crime insiders to come forward because they know very well that initimidation with the Clintons can easily be followed by Arkancide.

as the statutes of limitations for the various crimes expired.

Exactly, the only way anyone from that regime will be brought to justice is with an agressive investigation from the DoJ right now. Time is on the criminal's side.
