How were they paid off? Was each one given a special night of passion with the Big Jerk? That would be the only thing that would appeal to them, as most gala in the women's lib group couldn't get any action with a man on their own.

The orginal source of the joke was Benjamin Franklin, not Churchill.
Churchill might have quoted Franklin.

This will be interesting. Wonder if Hillary belonged to "this" group. Hitlery was probably the one who paid them.

According to Tammy Bruce, former head of NOW in L.A. (and today its enemy) a half million dollars of tobacco windfall money went from the government to NOW. Yes, I think their funding bought silence.

I wonder if when a person decides to become a homosexual, ALL principle and morality must be sacrificed, not just sexual morality.Guess you didn't notice that the author of the abovementioned book exposing and criticizing NOW's acceptance of payoffs is a "self-described lesbian feminist activist". She seems to have plenty of principle and morality, unlike our very busy heterosexual ex-President whose behavior gave rise to the payoffs.

a half million dollars of tobacco windfall money What does tobacco have to do with dike macho-type women? How can that be justified?
To: eureka!
"...to be fully written..."Yea; ain't America great.
The real *fun's* yet to be fully had, too.
And not one iota, not one whit of the magnificent skewering will come from this present administration, either.
No...the Leftists might'en as well be thinking about who or what they're going to blame all the misfit's 8 year run on now.
Before the PR, Angle of Repose becomes *unmanageable*?? ;^)
I envision a new snack treat in the coming months; "Bent1s on a Stick"
...think of 'em as akin to corndogs; only cocked to the Left.

Sounds like prostitution.I've always said that all of Clinton's female supporters were whores deep down. They would all sell their soul if it meant ensuring that they retained the right to kill their unborn children.
Get a load of this Clinton whore:
"I would be happy to give him [Clinton] a blow job [oral sex] just to thank him for keeping abortion legal. I think American women should be lining up with their presidential kneepads on to show their gratitude for keeping the theocracy off our backs." -- Time contributor and former reporter Nina Burleigh recalling what she told the Washington Posts Howard Kurtz about her feeling toward Bill Clinton, as recounted by Burleigh in the July 20, 1998 New York Observer. "'Relentlessness' is an under-valued Virtue in today's Lib'ralized America."Aye; that it 'tis, my friend.
And tenacity remarkably *misunderstood* by such enlightened ones as the loyal opposition on the Left, too.
...while patience totally unaccounted for; & we're *flush* with that kinda stuff, eh? ;^)

Obviously it can't be justified. That is why Tammy is screaming about it and wrote about it in her book.

I guess that when they say Nun, they really mean None! I would hate to meet that group of armed women in a dark alley!

Sure enough, Fox News' source for this story was former President of California NOW, and the money in question included the 1995 $500,000 grant, plus a later $200,000 grant. NOW is actually ineligible to receive such grants, but a separately chartered entity, called the NOW Foundation, is eligible, and was the recipient. Ms. Bruce noted that the Foundation is really the same group of people -- she was on the NOW Board of Directors at the time. NOW and the NOW Foundation may be legally distinct entities, but they are essentially the same folks wearing different hats. The reporter mentioned that the grants were supposed to be spent in pursuit of women and smoking, but the money actually was spent on general women's health programs.

Fox is reporting that the money came from the Centers For Disease Control in Atlanta. I guess Dr. David Satcher was at the controls at the time. This stinks.

Sounds like prostitution. A poor choice of words -- prostitutes work for a living, and they are generally courageous, trmperate, generous, nobel thinking, patient, truthful, witty, and friendly.
But most democratic politicians are licentious, wasteful, vulgar, vane, overambitious, irascible, boastful, obsequious, envious, insensitive, petty, boorish, quarrelsome, shameless, and malicious.

What is the name of Tammy's book?
I won't buy it but will request it at the public library.

I want to know who paid Gloria Steinem to abandon all her prior principles and argue for a "one free grope" rule vis a vis sexual breast-grabbing (Willey) and pants dropping (Jones) in the workplace by a superior. (That's exactly what her New York Times editorial argued for -- saying that Clinton's behavior was not sexual harrassment because he stopped after Willey and Jones said they didn't welcome his "advances".)
