Your purpose on this thread wasn't to find out if Linda Tripp had passed on the rumor about Bush the elder. A quick google search would have answered that question for you. Your purpose was to bash Linda Tripp and in the process throw some dirt on George H. W. Bush. Your smarmy "I only want the truth" act doesn't play well here. Try Broadway next time. Break a leg.

You don't seem very comfortable talking about Linda Tripp. You want to change the issue? Once more, If President Bush Sr. and President Bush Jr. both had dim view of her as a person, would you regard them as unreasonable? I'm not seeing the issue here if we both agree on the facts but place different weight on the items in her plus column or on the items in her minus column. Are you thinking that there is a further issue here that we disagree about, or are you just registering your discomfort that someone might have a reasonable view that's not your own?
