Post proof that the judiciary would not have the ability to take away any right it wished when a case pertaining to it came before it.

They have no legislative power. It's right there in the consitution. Do you really need the cite?

When I asked you when you would consider civil disobedience okay, and gave an example of an extreme situation to give you something to respond to....the disarming of the citizenry by the govt....you still said one needs to 'work within the laws'. I will find what post this was.

Of course they do not have this power....CONSTITUTIONALLY. But they have consistently been overstepping this and DO legislate every day.

The only proof I have is that I carry a firearm. I use my firearms within responsible methods; not only do I choose to protect my family and business, I believe in protecting YOUR lack of concept about this issue.

You are the first to go within a divided nation with a rampant government that has no restraint. I am here to say that our government has restraint.... and that is our guns.

Post 77: Me: "What about when the law openly forbids the carrying or even owning a weapon? Should one follow the law then? Just when is it acceptable to stand up for what you believe in, under your views? Once you can't defend them and are under a dictatorship?"

Your reply: "Well, if you want to be an ass and get arrested and go to jail and accomplish nothing, sure. Do it. But please dont think you're helping the CCW cause because you're not."

This is supposed to prove what? You've already had your head handed to you on the Presser case. I can cite prior State court cases (Like Georgia for instance) where the Supreme Court Justices there were not so blatantly and willfully disrespectful of the law. Have you ever read the racist roots of gun control by Clayton Cramer? You should.

If you have a CCW issued after July 1, or an old general CCW, you can carry anywhere in the state outside of the special gun free zones which are specifically mentioned in the law.(Schools, bars, places that serve alchohol, sports arenas.)

I agree there is restraint in guns. All I am saying is what is there to keep the government from taking them away? The fact is, the court could if it wished. It would be very easy for a gun case to come up and then for them to rule gun ownership "unconstitutional." The Supreme Court is not accountable to anyone and can do what it pleases.

You are picking a fight with somebody whom I believe shares your views. I don't know what happened between you but it's looking ugly now and I don't think it's necessary.

I'm sorry. I dont see where that indicates I was for government seizure of guns. I never bought into your hysterical hypothetical.

Their recent cases are so contradictory on issue after issue it makes one wonder if they even look at the Constitution when ruling.

Furthermore, unlike the court I respect from the 1800's, the court does not try hard at all to give precedent for its opinions.

Yeah, you do need to keep the insane in line. You're running out of allies to cheer your insane interpretations of our laws and constitution.

"I just don't believe in Liberteens."

LOL, I suppose next you'll be telling us you don't believe in Santa? What's a Liberteen anyway? Words have meaning if you use them correctly. You should try it:^)

I frankly do not know what is happening either...I am fighting two Concealed carry supporters and one who just pretends to be such. This is insane.

States are prohibited from enacting laws which prohibit how and where firearms may be carried"

There already is such a law. No new law is needed. If I were in Congress and I weren't Ron Paul, I'd be passing laws to come after your guns.

You are advocating a national concealed carry bill. Is this the bill? Or is it more involved? There shouldn't even be ink on paper in any legislature regarding your firearms.

Not a tilde or a spec more than the second amendment.

I said "OR EVEN OWNING A WEAPON." I guess you do have a point in that I did not say TAKING AWAY, but I did say the new law would forbid the owning of a weapon. Obviously, such guns owned already would have to be taken away in any case. So, my point still applies and you are a radical non-confrontational person on this issue. Even if all your rights are taken away, you still will say "work through the legislature." Even calling Rosa Parks wrong (you did not say this, but by your attacks on civil disobedience, it is not a leap to say such).

I remember you previously citing Presser approvingly, and then frantically backpedaling after learning what the decision actually said.
