I agree there is restraint in guns. All I am saying is what is there to keep the government from taking them away? The fact is, the court could if it wished. It would be very easy for a gun case to come up and then for them to rule gun ownership "unconstitutional." The Supreme Court is not accountable to anyone and can do what it pleases.

Their recent cases are so contradictory on issue after issue it makes one wonder if they even look at the Constitution when ruling.

Furthermore, unlike the court I respect from the 1800's, the court does not try hard at all to give precedent for its opinions.
