Osama bin Laden's mystery mate, delighting with the al Qaeda mastermind on the vile video, has been ID'd as a Saudi professor.

December 15, 2001 -- WASHINGTON - U.S. officials are looking into whether the mystery dinner-guest sheik who lavishly praises Osama bin Laden in the notorious video might have recruited some of the Sept. 11 hijackers, a source said last night.

While that tape will not convince apologists who dwell in that peculiar fantasyland where America & Israel are the world's unique source of evil, I do believe it was quite an eye-opener for a lot of Americans ( and others ) who were buying the "Islam is a religion of Peace " spin that's been peddled recently.

As each bit of information comes out about how hipdeep the Saudis are into this act of war, I have gone back and checked their government information site. With every revelation, their *information* changes. Before the release of the Bin Laden tape, the rules governing the trials of the Majlis al-Shoura stated that IN FACT, NO TRIAL of any member was to be made public. Now it has taken that statement out, although the end result is the same, and added the caviat, that a private trial of a member does not *preclude* a private lawsuit.....
To which I say, HUH????

Afghanistan is proof of how a radical group of foreigners can completely mislead more or less democraticaly a people who seek to repair their country but only find maniacs who use the country to advance their own cult of death. What is amazing is how muslims are so tempted by evil because the muslim often takes advantage of weakness.

I have not seen the entire video straight through. I have been wondering why he unfurls his turban. Other than the above speculation (perhaps correct?), does anyone know?
