Issels comment was totally out of line. If he was representing my company and called someone a bleeping Mexican piece of Bleep then he would be fired. Don't make your stand defending an outrageous and ethnically derogatory statement.

The diversity that is important is the diversity of ideas. Diversity based on the color of ones's skin, country of origin , or religion is a false premise. It is bound to fail becuase there is no basis of competence.

In an altercation with a fan he called him a friggin Mexican (only he didn't say friggin).Actually, Issel called the guy a "Mexican piece of $hit."
Had the word "Mexican" been left out, I'm sure no one would have even heard of this incident.
Why is it OK to call a Mexican, (or anyone else), a "piece of $hit" but it's the worst thing that could ever be to call a Mexican a Mexican?
Too funny! This planet is nuts!

It's not the Hispanics fault. They are just playing the game. The problem is that these quotas exist. If they exist, you have to learn to use them to your advantage.
In short, learn how to play the game.

You are absolutely right, look at what it did for Loretta Brixley, er, I mean Sanchez down in Kalifornia...JFK

One of my friends told everyone at work he was a Native American. He even had Indian prints on the wall. Worked like a charm.
Remember, if you say you are an American Indian, it's intolerant to ask you to verify it.

Rent "Falling Down"...Forget that - buy it. Then watch it every now and then. Great flick.

Maybe not construed as a racist, but the whining is counterproductive. What would you define as "productive" as a response to anti-white racism. Bending over and taking it?
If the trend continues, and nobody in the media, legal, or political mainstream is going to speak up for the equality under law, of white people, then the extremists will prosper and grow in this vaccum.
Civil War II is not as unfathomable as it was just a few years ago.

I don't thing MLK would even recognize today's "civil rights" movement. Sad.

I can just see the man insulted. He goes home, hangs up his coat, tells his wife, the coach of da Nuggets called me a "Mexican piece of shit". She turns to him and says "you are, just look in the mirror". He walks to the fireplace, looks deeply at his reflection, and screams "I am Mexican, oh God", as he begins sobbing, puts his head in his hands and resolves to fix the coach for all of his amigos, and of course a bunch on dineros.
Now is this a racist reply?

Don't make your stand defending an outrageous and ethnically derogatory statement. Then punish Issel. But don't leverage Issel's stupidity to blackmail the Nugget organization. These 'minority' advocacy groups remind me of a bunch of wild dogs. They are anxious to shred anyone that appears weak.
How do we make the assuption that Issel's idiotic outburst 'represents' the Nuggets anyway? If I were the Nuggets, I'd repremand him and ignore the Hispanics outcry.

I bought Falling Down a few years ago. And I like to watch it from time to time, just to remind myself how my life imitates art. I realize that this movie featured an arch-commie in Michael Douglas, but it really rings true about what a pool of garbage the United States has become.

question-what is the amount of guards?? and are they from different groups/races etc??,or all your guards are white??Please explain, what is the point of your question? This question should have no relevance in a color-blind society.
The fact that you feel it has to be posed is proof that the point of anti-discrimination laws/lawsuits is NOT racial equality.

Now is this a racist reply?I don't know. Evidently, I ain't a very good judge of such things.
It's a dang funny reply though...LOL!
