Good point.
Besides, I find the term 'gun control' a little laughable from the nation that created the widest proliferation of small arms in the world.
Evidently Russia's elites haven't noticed it - but the weapon of choice among terrorists is the Russian-made AK-47, and thus is something that they, not Washington, chose to flood the world with.
Look at any photo or video of bin Laden - and see what kind of rifle stands next to him! Or look at the abundant use of the Kalashnikov in Lebanon's civil war.
Memo to my secretary: "Book me on that next flight to Moscow - pronto!" ;-)
I think they are just resting. They will be back.
Right now they are more interested in securing more power for the Government over the traditional freedoms of the people. Once that is accomplished there will be a natural clash between those who want to completely control the people and those who have guns and don't want to be controlled.
Don't fool yourself, it's just a matter of time.
Stupid socialists. Go away now little lefities, your incompetence in running your own country is showing.
Thank God for the adults in the White House who understand the 2nd Amendment!!

Please go to Thomas and put "NICS" in the search. It got these, and one I have to re-read, it looks like a good one:

WAAAAAHHH!!! Not fair!!! I wanna select-fire AK-74 for $100.00!!!
Go to Russia. If you have even a rudimentary control of the language, strike up a conversation with nearly any member of the military. DO NOT approach the Militsia with this attempt -- go to regular army. Within about 20 minutes they will make you an offer.
Getting it is easy. Getting it HERE is hard. :o)
Stay out of the big cities. Well, St. Pete is okay. DON'T BOTHER WITH MOSCOW... the place is crawling with cops.
Try Novgorod.
Except of course that with enough cash you can buy ANYthing over there.
I agree. The article keeps referring to "Moscow." Moscow this, Moscow that. Who is Moscow? Who is the article quoting? One of the vaguest pieces of journalism ever. At least when they get to the domestic gun grabbers they can find real names.

"The blame for increased gun sales, according to Moscow and anti-gun activists, lies with gun manufacturers."
So much for their understanding of simple economic principles. Increased sales are due to increased demand (especially from all the Dims!)
It's already begun. In fact I'm not sure it ever quit.
