If the enemy is in range, so are you.

"...if you got him down, stomp him..."
Yep - Put 'em on the gound and don't stop to admire your work.....stay on 'em, until they stop bleedin'.

Another good rule in regards to Sniping...
ALWAYS REMAIN IN THE SHADOWS!!!! LET THE ENEMY COME TO YOU!!!!

11. Never bring a knife to a gunfight.
12. Remember the Three 'S' Rule; shoot, shovel, and shut up.

My Dad, Daniel Lesmar Isom lived around Yelm WA when he was a kid... He grew up around guns so he knew how to use them....
one story he like to tell was one time he was at a relatives farm and one day as he was hanging around doin' nothin' as he said, is relative came chargin' out of the barn where he had his milk cows with a beat up old milk pail
"what gives???" dad wonderrred??? well shortly there after out came this HUMONGOUS Wharf rat!!!! his relative had been apparantly trying to beat the rat to death with the PAIL!!! since it wasn't goin' all that good , it seems, he high tailed it to the house to get his .22 rifle!!! :-))))

I use these every time I play CS. If you mean Counter Strike, there's a one in a thousand chance you've seen me, usually I'm in the been-killed "ghost mode", so my handle there is blood_smear.

....stay on 'em, until they stop bleedin'.Street fighting was a popular pass time when I was a kid, no after school activities, life in the city.
Don't concentrate to much on the guy who is down, just enough, you may loose track of the action.

There is nothing more frightening to a punk the being at the recieving end of a SAWED OFF SHOTGUN and someone who KNOW how to use it!!!!!

The Only 'Fair Fights' are the ones that you walk away from !! !! The only proper use of the words 'fair' and 'fight' in the same sentence goes something like this:
"There was a fist fight at the county fair..."

LOL. Don't think you've gotten a chance to run up your score against me then, I'd have remembered that one. It's an addictive game. As a matter of fact, I'm off to play now - maybe we'll bump into each other sometime in the tunnels of de_dust.

perhaps, someone mentioned creating a FR klan a few months back. Haven't heard much since.

11. Never bring a knife to a gunfight.
To: tarawa
I had a friend who learned this one the hard way.
"Never corner a coward"
Just because he is a coward doesn't mean he can't fight. Always leave him an escape route.

Or, you can have the best of both worlds and buy some shot-shell ammo for your revolver. Like having a .357 magnum shotgun... Compactness of carry and gives you a decent close range spread... I've seen the shells available in several calibers...
To: tarawa
All are appropriate, but these two stand out:
7. In ten years nobody will remember the details of calibre, stance, or tactics. They will only remember who lived.
and
10. Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty.
The bold part pretty well sums up the entire thing IMO.
