Latest statistics from The California Department of Health show AIDS is all but non-existent.

Female mortalities in 2001 now stand at a mere 35 in the whole of the State of California.

AIDS at only 7.5% of 1995 levels. A 92.5% drop in six years.

AIDS drops an average (between the sexes) of 57% in a single year. The largest drop ever and over twice the decline between 1999 and 2000. Why is that stunning fact ignored by the media?

One interesting fact, that requires careful calculations based on the California Department of Health figures, is that of the 35 women who died of AIDS in California this year only two were non drugs using caucasians. TWO!
Some of the road crossings in Los Angeles have claimed double that figure. An epidemic with deaths equal to a single dangerous road crossing? Give us a break!

David these figures are great. I agree, Pasquarelli/ActupSF, and those people are .....*strange* however, they are gay activists sounding the alarm about the sexually provative ads, calling Ashcroft, etc. These things I agree with, in addition, they are against huge tax dollars for HIV.
In an unrelated issue, I am very concerned with Kidney problems, I've had a cat that died from it, my h.s. best friend died from it, and another friend/co-worker is currently on dialysis sadly. I can think of a lot of other things we could be funding more. Even broken bones!
