Doesn't the Bible prohibit man from casting his seed upon the ground? So masturbation is OUT. A sin. Is sex for mere pleasure allowed by the Bible? Or is there a "modern interpretation" for the Bible that allows such decadence? If anyone here can give me a serious answer without becoming childishly irate and full of insults, I will be impressed.

You have been given an answer to this question. You chose to reject and ridicule it. The Church teaches that men and women should only have sexual relations within the bounds of marriage and that each act should be open to the possibility of procreation. That is the teaching. I'm sorry if it doesn't fit with your current lifestyle. Fortunately for you, when you get older and sex is not an all-consuming topic of interest for you, God will still be there waiting to forgive and redeem you.

Jim Bakker is not a Catholic. I suggest you get yourself a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and start reading. You clearly have a lot to learn about a religion that counts over 1 billion followers worldwide, and a large and growing proportion of Americans.

Um...I don't think I have looked at a woman in lust. I AM a woman. Does that mean it is okay to invent a non-existent woman in the mind and look at her?

Yesss....Several million illegal Mexicans are here in the USA right now. They hang Jesus and Crucifixes from their necks and their rear-view mirrors, and are "faithfully"(heh heh) married to women in Mexico, but try to bang American women every chance they get. GOOOOD Catholic men. Excellent examples. They have increased the number of "Catholics" in America several millionfold. Mexican Catholic priests are oftentimes the wealthiest landowners in their communities down there.

And now I suppose you'll explain how what you wrote here has anything at all to do with what we were debating. As long as the Church is composed of men (read, humans), there will be evil-doers in the ranks. There have only been two people in the history of the world who were sinless from the moment of their conceptions. That Catholics sin is not shocking at all, nor does it do anything to further your point. We have been given a path to salvation. Some will choose to follow it. Others will follow their own paths. Due to their limited vision and fallen state, these paths almost invariably lead to perdition.

Statistical odds are stubborn things. They don't lie. They just are what they are. The odds of contracting AIDS increase astronomically by engagine in anal versus vaginal intercourse. One was meant for penetration, the other was not.

In America the largest incidence of AIDS in women is in the African American community. What do the rappers obsess over? I'm not sure why that kind of sexual behaviour is more prevalent in the urban African American culture and not in other urban minorities. I'm getting into taboo territory, but facts are facts and its not my problem if people don't want to address the root cause. I'm safe in knowing neither my wife or I are in danger.
