Revenge is a necessary evil. For how those bleeding political capital for the dead victims can recoup losses as the criminal perpetrators see their political ranks swell up with very alive criminals readying themselves for the final kill of their oponents?

HOUMOUS
Serve this spread on pitta or Turkish bread, or served as a dip with vegetable strips, water crackers or corn chips. It also goes beautifully in sandwiches instead of butter.Ingredients
- 1 can chick peas, drained (reserve liquid for possible use later)
- 1 or 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup tahina (Tahina extracted from pure white and roasted sesame seeds)
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. tamari or soy sauce
DirectionsChop garlic as we puritans, by hand or in a new fandangled food processor...LOLOL
Then put the chick peas in food processor until ground fine
Add rest of ingredients one at a time, running the food processor to mix each in well
Careful, if you desire to make it less stiff, add a small amount of the chick pea liquid, Enjoy!

Carlo, Carlo, Carlo... I'm gaining weight merely by LOOKING at these recipes. I grew up in St. Louis where 1/2 my school was Jewish, so although I'm Catholic, Jewish grandmas hold a special place in my heart (and stomach!!!). Oy vey, for some good latkes (with applesauce!).
Happy Chanukah to all the Jewish FReepers!

Definetly go for propane.
I was an all-electric sucker for years til I wised up and went propane for everything.
Energy cost cut in half and I LOVE cooking with gas as I did years ago...much more control.
And just this week they started laying natural gas lines in my area.
