I get the feeling that you both don't get and do get my point. The fact that you feel that he fought out front as a soldier seems to bolster your respect for him. The way I read it is that he was willing to do anything, kill anyone for OBL....the only limitation on the level of his ability to destroy US was opportunity.

And, you can't be selective once you set the criteria for respect. Based on your standard then you should include both the Rosenbergs, who, as I said did die for their convictions, and Jane Fonda, and Al Sharpton who has been stabbed and jailed for his convictions, and Jonathan Pollard, and for that matter any Mafia killer who does time rather than rat.

If you are willing to add them to you "people I respect" list I'd like to see it in writing. If you can't stomach putting it in writing then you probably don't really "respect ya" Walker.

It's like Bill said earlier: comparing turds. I don't "respect" Johnny. I respect his actions of standing up for what he believes moreso than those over here that feel the same as he does, yet are too much of cowards and do not wish to give up their great American lives.

You see, native middle easterners have nothing to begin with. They have nothing to lose. But an American that lived here then gave up that to live in such conditions and pick up arms with his fellow deranged evil lunatics is a practice in determination.
