"We are not scared by those threats," Aziz told reporters in Baghdad. Naw, maybe it's the tons and tons of ordnance and firey hell to be visted upon him that he should really be afraid of.

Isn't WND a part of Debka now?

We should attack Iraq with the full power of the U.S. government, divide it up with England and dedicate it as a prison camp for Scientologists. They are potentially the greatest threat to freedom in the Western hemisphere.

Hey WND is one step above Newsmax when it comes to stories like this but then again considering that NewsMax is pretty low on the scale of truth in this type of news stories its not all that much better.

Yep.

What kind of comment is that? Joseph Farrah et al are some of the best and most reliable journalists around. They are ready with facts to back up what they print. If you disagree, email them. They will email back with the background info etc. I knwo, I've written them and been impressed with their professionalism.

I will be impressed when I see U.S. troops on the Jordan/Iraq border.
What's Iraq plan to do with the UAVs?

near the Saddam DamJDAM damn Saddam Dam. (JDAM is GPS guided bomb, cheap 18K for the guidance kit and 2K for the bomb, 2000 lb variety that is, hardened penatrator version slightly higher.)

Some of the action and force build-up in Kuwait is, I believe, classic diversion like Patton's invasion of Calais which never happened.
Draw Saddam south and send the Turks rolling in the north under the color of protecting the Kurdish minority, stamping out the latest PKK incursion or even helping enforce the no-fly zone.

It irritates me no end to see our troop movements discussed.

Isn't WND a part of Debka now? No, and this isn't really from them anyway. It's from GeostrategyDirect which seems to be part of World Tribune.com. One of their main contributors, that is reporters/columnists, is Bill Gertz.

One must wonder if this is not a diversionary tactic.

spotted moving in northern Iraq near the Saddam Dam
Where is our base in Turkey? That seems closer to northern Iraq and would mean that we wouldn't have to fly over the entire country to get to there.

It irritates me no end to see our troop movements discussed. In this case it's probably something they, that is the government or military, wants to be publisized. Remember the Marines offshore of Kuwait, who never did attack, but tied down lots of Iraqis anyway? But then again, maybe that's what the Pentagon wants Saddam to think. :) Yah never know.

hmmmmm....here we go again. IMHO Bush is methodical and has basically stated all along that this will be one of his next priorities...
To: StoneColdGOP
Iraq will be an especially rich target should a fleeing Arafat and OBL take refuge with Saddam.
