A self-proclaimed "anti-abortion warrior" named as a suspect in the sending of anthrax-hoax letters to abortion clinics nationwide was captured yesterday by the U.S. Marshals Service.

Clayton Lee Waagner, a "Ten Most Wanted" fugitive who has taken credit for hundreds of hoax letters sent to clinics across the country, was arrested outside a Kinko's store in Cincinnati, where authorities said he had gone to check his e-mail and to log on to pro-life Web sites.

authorities recovered a rifle, shotgun, pipe bomb and pro-life literature from the vehicle.

Just a well-meaning lad trying to make the world a better place.

With advocates such as this clown, it might be worth reconsidering the cause.

For those assigned to this case, either getting ready for court or testifying before the grand juries and at his trials for the next few years--and I don't think the investigation's over. Because of the number of crimes that Waagner's accused of committing (jail escape, bank robberies, robberies, car theft, hijacking, kidnapping for starters--plus the fake anthrax letters), he's going to be having at least 10 trials in any number of jurisdictions.

Don't worry--they'll keep busy.
