To be honest, I still think the defining distinction of the feminine that is Modesty was a primary target of the "bra burning" sorts. Again, while I run with the boys myself as a rule, I try not to actually end up one of them.

I guess I'm still too much the nerd to be perfectly comfortable listening to or reading details of the pleasures a part of a couple's boudoir.

Sort of takes the punch out of their protesting that their "private lives" are their own and nobody else's business.
