The word of this Freep even made the news down here in Texas, so congratulations, you done good. A friend called me and asked if my Freepers were in attendance, I was so proud.

I heard from Cassius Clinton (formerly Mr. X) that Santa did indeed light the tree...or one of the many Santas there did, anyhow, come to think of it.

Congratulations and well done to one and all. The TRT and FR weren't specifically mentioned, unfortunately, but this event was just mentioned by Grant Hudson on 92.1 FM, WDDV, here in Sarasota county, Florida. Grant is about as anti-PC as you can get, and is widely listed to in this area.
Good show!

AWESOME!!!One correction is in order, however. Those idiots who banned Santa are not "LIBERALS" in the strictest or traditional sense of the word. Actually, FReepers are true liberals, in the Jeffersonian tradition. Those we have been referring to as "liberals" are actually the most illiberal sort of people. Let's call them LEFTISTS, NAZIS, or whatever. But they are definitely NOT liberals.

Abdul Hamid, John Walker aka Abdul Hamid spent the first ten years of his life in the Washington suburbs of Maryland.
Is Kensington Town considered a suburb of D.C.?
