[history]
District police investigators have discovered a body believed to be that of Douglas Alexander Small, the 38-year-old AOL executive who had been missing since Nov. 6. Authorities said they have arrested a Virginia contractor who was renovating Small's house and charged him with second-degree murder.

According to Small's friends, he was gay. Sgt. Brett Parson, who leads the police department's gay and lesbian liaison unit, began looking into his disappearance after Small's friends contacted him, concerned that police weren't taking the case seriously. "We know that nothing happens when gay men turn up missing," said Patrick Blais, a friend of Small's.What a crock of bull! DC Police have yet to locate Chandra Levy but they found this guy before the weekend was over. They even assigned their special Poofter unit to the case. And still these deviants try to claim that nothing happens when homosexuals go missing after the police went the extra mile just because the guy was allegedly a packer!
I know I shouldn't expect much from folks who can't tell an exit from an entrance, but their arrogance is simply overwhelming!

Typical of the Washington Compost. They go through the extra effort of pointing out that he was gay but later mention that it had absolutely nothing to do with the case. If it had nothing to do with the case, why mention it at all?

special Poofter unit lol, too. Is that where the cop dude from the Village People works?

Forget that they guy is gay; I'm more worried that a contractor he had hired (allegedly) MURDERED him. I just filed a lawsuit against a contractor whose subcontractors did absolutely awful work. Should I be worried?!? This contractor and his subcontractors are also Egyptian/Muslim. Should I be doubly worried?!? Court date in two weeks. Oh, by the way, this guy's body was dumped less than 1 mile from my home!!!

Maybe we need a "Trustworthy-FReepers-who-are-handymen/contractors" thread?
Stay safe.

Three weeks after the disappearance, detectives from the 3rd District executed a search warrant on the house, where they said they found a 9mm bullet and what appeared to be bloodstains in the basement. On Thursday, police said, detectives had their first interview with Godbey.
What in the HELL took them so long to check the house and question the contractor? Us Freepers knew he was the perp on the first day. WTF?

One thing is sure
Alexander Small and the contractor aren't gay!

This contractor and his subcontractors are also Egyptian/Muslim. Until I saw this post I thought that this wuould be treated as a "hate crime," but since there is not a politically correct combination of victim group and perpetrator group it is just any "ordinary" murder.

If you've made it as far as court, you've survived all the scenes up till now. Still, do you "carry"? You'd feel better if you had a way to protect yourself and your family, just in case.
I know a man who worked with this man. Gay or not, he was a good guy and a great coworker who got his work done and made life easier for everybody with whom he worked. He was not killed because of his sexual orientation, obviously. Is the killer eligible for the death penalty in this state? I hope so.

"Callahan, if you don't straighten up, I'll assign you to the Poofter Unit"The question you have to ask yourself is, "Do I feel lucky?" Well, do ya, punk?

He was not killed because of his sexual orientation, obviously.Well, it appears that the contractor didn't kill him just because he was homosexual. It appears that the contractor couldn't stand him being so picky about every little detail. Which kinda means....
Is the killer eligible for the death penalty in this state?
Oh goodness, no! The citizenry of the District of Columbia are far too civilized to permit a murderer to face that sort of punishment.

This will be a sphincter tightening story!!!!!!!!!
