If you've made it as far as court, you've survived all the scenes up till now. Still, do you "carry"? You'd feel better if you had a way to protect yourself and your family, just in case.

I know a man who worked with this man. Gay or not, he was a good guy and a great coworker who got his work done and made life easier for everybody with whom he worked. He was not killed because of his sexual orientation, obviously. Is the killer eligible for the death penalty in this state? I hope so.

Well, it appears that the contractor didn't kill him just because he was homosexual. It appears that the contractor couldn't stand him being so picky about every little detail. Which kinda means....

Is the killer eligible for the death penalty in this state?

Oh goodness, no! The citizenry of the District of Columbia are far too civilized to permit a murderer to face that sort of punishment.
