Something else that bothers me is that their nice, neat version of the world doesn't address what will happen to all the medicine or food that is grown because of technology! What you don't agree with them? I wish we could go back to the days before industrialization. You know, when child mortality was about 25%. When stavation was a reality every winter. When infectious diseases took 1 or 2 members of the family each year. When "getting by" meant back breaking labor from sun up to sun down.
