You are not "watchin" the news too closely. Didn't a Palestinian child get killed playing soccer, or another crossing the plaza at the Nativity Church in Bethlehem? Isn't the body count about 5x more Palestinians than Israelis killed? It seems that the Muslimns are against us for supporting their enemy, Israel. Hence the question: what is the US interest. Have received a lot of replies, but no attempt at an answer.

Clearly, you don't have an answer: where is the US interest

The terrorism has again smoked YOU out.

The US interest is destruction of all terrorists: completely.

We stood by while the Muslims killed over a million Christians in Sudan. We had no interest there but is it really good to let them take over so much of the world while we sit and do nothing? Just like the Nazis----we could have done something sooner.

The fact that you don't understand that this war is already in the U.S. is mindboggling. Maybe your 10 year-old can explain it to you.

The US sobieski's interest is obviously against Israel, and in favor of the Arabs. That way you get a "twofer" -- cheap oil and dead Jews.

I would be more impressed if the officers had been male. Not to minimize the evil act but you have to admit women cry a lot easier than men do. Men are expected to buck it up and so often hold back.

God is great at proselytizing. Those victims will be avenged.

Orogenisis... Nope actually Secretary State Powell called for a halt in the "inciting" of violence. Yes these are murdering bastards, yes little more than animals, yes "true believers," and 'rationalizing' with them won't work.

I think that "any" leader in the muslim world including arafat, sadam, or the taliban needs to be reminded that there are two distinct propositions as to the future.

Given time, and on "our" timeline, (western civilization) there will be an addressing of these types of activities and the 'allowance' and or 'inciting' of them to occurr.

If I were Arafat I would spank my 'own children' so that the need is necesitated by another...

These acts are as barbarious as living in a cave.

See, this is what the Arabs need to learn. There is no modern country on the planet that will bow to violence anymore. Especially underwhelming (albeit bloody) violence. They said once they wanted to push all the Jews into the sea, and its obvious that to get their way via violence, they would have to physically push them into the sea. Its a very medieval strategy. Modern nations know too much about violence and even more so, hostage negotiations, to fall for terrorist attacks. If they really want to force the issue they should look at how Gandhi crippled India through days of complete non-cooperation. The Mohatma and Rev. King were real revolutionaries in the sense that they discovered a method for bringing a modern country to its knees, in a way that could not be retaliated against. Ignore their cause and you'll see that the strategy itself is pure brilliance. I mean, lets forget right and wrong for a moment and look at pure strategy. A country with a military as robust as Israel, or even a hyperpower as the USA is, vs violent actions taken by a ragtag bunch of fanatics? No, we can't be beaten. If they want to change our policies and win their point, they should shame us into giving it to them. Violence will only get them killed, hunted and killed like the filthy little rats they are. I never thought I'd live to see the day, but the US does the Palestinian cause no favors by trying to take them seriously while they still exercize violence. It only makes them think they have a point, and that they are accomplishing something by killing people. I see now, we have been encouraging them.....

Arafat was granted a very large amount of room to reach a peaceful settlement to the Palestinian situation.

This was the last incident where he and his cohorts would have a say in these matters.

His time has expired!

The world clearly recognizes that there has not been a genuine desire for peace and civilized behavior on their behalf.

This marks the most significant escalation to the war, the prior instances were treated with appeasement however, war now appears imminent!

History will reflect the truth with respect to those responsible for these acts, and their paticipation in the much larger scheme of global events.

When this is over, a Palestinian State will be created by the world community.

However those participants in the terrorist activities and mass hysteria of late will be paying with their lives, as this goes far beyond peaceful intentions.

This is the end of relations as they were percieved before.

A new order will soon befall this region with lasting peace and civilized behavior, as the world resolve remains unwaivered!

The Mohatma and Rev. King were real revolutionaries in the sense that they discovered a method for bringing a modern country to its knees, in a way that could not be retaliated against.

Nonviolent civil disobedience works only against countries that are basically civilized to begin with. (i.e. the U.S., Great Britain) Brutal dictatorships (China, Syria, Iraq, etc.) make short shrift of such demonstrations. Remember Tienanmen Square?

Nonviolent civil disobedience also only works if one's objective is nonviolent. Since the Palestinians objective is the overthrow of Israel and the expulsion or death of the entire Jewish population, nonviolent methods won't achieve this goal.
