Take yourself in hand, old boy, and go into a spasm!

In other words, GFY!

************"Would you like to take care of this this personally?"*******************************

Most definitely!

I wouldn't look to a Brit to defend my family!

Witness the mortar attack on one of Saddam's palaces only last week.

I hadn't heard of that. Very interesting.

I have little doubt that the Iraqi people would largely turn against Saddam if they could. What I doubt is whether they have the munitions to effectively fight what is still a fairly modern army.

I don't think we can rid Iraq of Saddam without ground forces, and I'm afraid it's looking like those will be ours exclusively.

Haven't I heard this sort of thing before, about how shaky the coalition is and how Tony Blair opposes US plans? What are they, a broken record?

Maybe that response should have read, pee, or wee wee, or urinate, or better yet tinkle, instead of piss. The word "piss" can be found in the Bible-anyone so sensitive as to be offended by that word, will not be missed in this war against terrorism and neither will such punks present much of a problem to the less sensitive folks who are committed to waging and winning said war.

The prudent will follow the sage advice of: Lead, follow, or get the hell out of the way!

When will it be acknowleged that we are at war, really at war, with militant Islam. Besides Turkey and Isreal, we have no allies in the mid east.

Cool down. This is all just speculation. I've seen this information at other sites.

As Rumsfeld stated so clearly...the plan determines the coalition, the coalition does not determine the plan. Onward.

Is something a secret when everybody knows about it?

Secret or not, it sounds like a plan to me.

What is that new saying, ah, Roll 'em, ah, Oh!

"Let's Roll!"

I wouldn't look to Tom Ridge or John Ashcroft to do it, either.

Iraqi Shiite opposition group says it fired mortar rounds at Saddam palace

The Iraqis confirmed it when they claimed a.) there had been no damage and b.) they had caught and killed the perps (though they did not identify their political persuasion).

"I don't think we can rid Iraq of Saddam without ground forces, and I'm afraid it's looking like those will be ours exclusively."

I agree. But, while the Euros may stand aside, so will the other Arab countries -- privately happy to be rid of the local crazed bully.

And we may not be totally alone. The Turks might join this show. And who would you rather have on your side: the French...or the Turks?

I am more inclined to depend upon myself but in extreme cases, I assume I should be able to depend upon fellow Americans to join a joint cause. But that is a stretch!

Trick question. The French are never on anybody's side.

But I'll take the Turks over any NATO country except Britain.
