Vanity: Are you having unusual weather this season?

Reporting from Northern Ohio. Our weather this season is unusually warm. It has been in the high 60's for most days in November and the latter half of October. The next ten days projected highs are in the high 50's and mid-to-high 60's.
It is certainly easy to take, however, today I saw what looked like Forsythia starting to bloom. Characteristically the pond has been freezing come December 10th. Last Thanksgiving the wind and cold were brutal. Our propane use was enormous, comparatively.
I'm curious as to what other parts of the country are experiencing weather-wise.

More rain than is normal for this time of year. I think you stole our weather! California, BTW.

Same weather you're having, here in IL. Remember, Hildebeast's been talking a lot lately on tv - I'm sure it's all the hot air she's blowing.

In the east we've had the second warmest November in recorded history. The first was in 1931, but there wasn't much talk about global warming back then.

I'm just west of Columbus. I mowed the lawn on Halloween. It's back to the point where I'm going to have to mow it again. In December. Lush and green. I've never seen anything like it.

It was raining catfish and hailing hush puppies earlier today. Better than the rain of snakes and fire we had earlier in the month.

Warm weather in Eastern Pennsylvania also. Noticed many kids in shorts today after school let out and it seems as if there have only been two or three cold days here during the entire month. And there has been very little rain in more than a month. I didn't give it any thought until your question.

How long will it be before the tree huggers start using this warmer-than-normal evidence to prove global warming?

It's been in the 80s for days here in central Florida. It supposed to drop into the mid 70s next week.
I'll bet that we're all going to get some wicked winter storms in February to 'make up' for the warm weather.

How long will it be before the tree huggers start using this warmer-than-normal evidence to prove global warming?I was thinking the same thing. So here is what we have to do. Anytime anyone asks, the answer is always "Damn, it's cold. Coldest winter I can remember."

Parts of lowland Western Washington State got 7 inches of snow this week, and we never get snow this early.... We typically have less then a week of snow days all winter, and not usually until January

Here in the Philly area it's been very warm for this time of year...in the 60's this week.
In fact it's been warmer in Nov than in Oct.
My energy bill actually went down this month. A LOT.

All the paper wasps came out of winter hibernation last week. That was strange. I expect they'll get a little chilly tonight though, high 30's in Mobile.

Wrong person to ask, but since you did ask, I'll have to answer. When it's not sunny and warm, it's always "unusual", as far as I'm concerned!
To: kylaka
Global warming is BS. Idiots in charge of junk science learn by looking out they're window on a warm day in winter and says "My God, It's unseasonably warm this day". Then they write an article and 'sell' it to the "day one" wonders.
25 years ago the news was talking about how we were going into the next ice age. Seems to me like a bunch of idiots who are concerned only within the time frame they have experienced. Why, oh why, are they not capable of critical thinking ability?
They talk about the global warming created by man. If this logic is true, what happened to the great societies who created enough heat to melt back the last three ice ages?

In western Washington, the state, last year was weird...too dry. This year it seems more normal...although we had snow this last week. Some might consider that unusual, but it happens.
