Very good! LOL Wish I had thought of that!
Okay, I will be serious, yes I am, and have been since I was 11 years old.
Don't ask me how long ago that was! :)

Try a little C.S. Lewis also but, most of all, read something from the New Testament daily.

The problem with this sort of writing is that an unbeliever who is convicted and might be actually on the verge of seeking God, reads this and is beaten before they start.
And to tell the truth I don't think it does the believer all that much good either. The Blood of Christ is a far more efficacious cleanser and refurbisher of the human soul than holding oneself to a check list. What does Christ say to one of the 'slipping' churches in The Revelation."You have forgotten your first love. Go back and do the things you did at first." Or thereabouts.
I can never see myself as anything other than the poor begger beating his breast in the back of the synagoge, afraid to even aproach the front, saying, "God have mercy upon me, wretch that I am." And then I see the Blood of my Lord poured out on the ground and over me that has washed me and given me entry to the presence of God.
This is so much more powerful than a preacher's measuring rod of dos and dont's. This gives me power to have faith that I am acceptable to God and able to turn from sin. The Blood of Christ is true power. It never stops changing us. It is so much more effective than anything WE can ever do.

I will add you to my prayer list, that God will speak to you in a very personal way. I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour July 2, 1950, more than 52 years ago. Never regretted it for a moment.

Make that more than 51 years ago. My math is ok, but my typing is not.

I have a relatively short reading suggestion for you (and others, certainly as well). It's been around for quite a while, and it explains the Reformed Faith view (central for Presbyterians and others). It is a detailed reading, but worth the effort.

March 13, 1971... a date which will live...oh, sorry, wrong speech...uh, a day I will never forget. Newman Chapel, Kent State University campus, about 2 am, with some friends and a very dear friend to me, Phil Keaggy. I've had my ups and downs since then, but Jesus has never let me go...:o)

You bet I am, and blessed by Billy Graham, when I answeed HIS call, in 1956, when I was part of the Billy Graham choir.
Now, aren't YOU ashamed of yourself ? If not; you should be! : - )

Not as yet, but having been forced to become a member of the Presbytarian Jihad as a youth, am now taking a deep second look. Reading a lot of G.K. Chesterton and Newman. Hope the Bulb Lights for me.LOL....Navigators? I bumped you to the nicest Presbyterians I know for a potential conversation!
