My kids and some of their friends come to this site for purely educational reasons. They've learned more about the political world from this site than any other source.

This is the best clearing-house for news articles I've ever found. The people on the site make profound contributions. IMHO.

I'd like to know how they claim this site is a fraud: Anyone can use it for free, any payment is strictly voluntary. Personally I can't imagine Free Republic being closed down as a lurker since early 1998 and a poster since last year.
