The Harvard who did the poll found it hard to believe the results. Why was this poll even taken? DEFUND NPR.

Rush has a great peice in the Washington Post today about FDR and Leahy. He's reading it on the air right now and it will probably be posted at his web site later on today
HERE He's also quoting Byron York from his peice in National Review on Line about Leahy.

While I am concerned about the wide-ranging powers that the fed has given to itself using "terrorism" as justification,
I have to notice that they sure weren't all that upset when clinton and co. were running roughshod over the Constitution.
I cannot help but wonder if they will say anything the next time they get "their man" in and the power is in their hands.
I think NOT.
The dog and pony show continues...

Leahy?
Let me see, has this Clymer ever porposed anything of merit? Has he ever backed anything of merit? Well let me see. Hmmm. How about... no that wasn't him. How about... no that wasn't him eaither. Nope. I don't think this jackass has ever amounted to much. So let me see. Should his comments now matter very much? Well no, I don't think so.
Leahy? This guy's always good for a few laughs...

Who is this Leahy ass-wipe to be saying anything at all in the midst of war? This jerk represents a couple million nutballs from Vermont who elected him with what, a few hundred thousand votes? Stay out of the way of the President of the United States, little man.

"I don't remember Leahy having anything to say when Clinton and Reno had their agents break down doors in the middle of the night and drag a 6 year off at machine-gun point. No warrant. No court order. Where was this clymer's concern then?"I also do not remember him offering anything supportive of the rights guaranteed by the 2nd amendment to the Constitution.

Leahy leaked a sensitive report and was kicked off a committee per Rush. This guy has to go.

Terrorists will love Leahey for he is doing their bidding, whether he knows it or not.

The Democrats are just putting on a show trial to appeal to their base - election next year and all that. And they are taking more potshots at Ashcroft, the Conservative they love to hate.
But I think it will backfire on them. The American public wants these measures. They are firm on that if the polls are any indication and I think they are.

This will be a good test of whether Hillary is really running for President. Leahy has apparently decided to take the stage and make some noise, presumably with the intent of firing up the Democratic base and becoming some sort of hero to them. Hillary will perceive this as a threat, so if she is in fact the one orchestrating the accidental political demise of the other Democratic contenders, we should start to see leaks of damaging material about Leahy finding their way into the press. |

Maybe if Clinton and Leahy and the 'rats had spent half as much money and effort investigating Osama Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda as they spent investigating Microsoft, we could have avoided 9-11.

This WILL backfire. I have many liberal (very liberal) co workers who fully support the terror probe practices. This president is also learning how to use the bully pulpit well.
