Powell: Bush sends Iraq a 'chilling message'

WASHINGTON (CNN) --Iraqi President Saddam Hussein should take President Bush's demand Monday that Iraq allow international weapons inspections to resume as a "very sober, chilling message," Secretary of State Colin Powell said.

During a Rose Garden appearance, Bush said Hussein "needs to let inspectors back in his country to show us that he is not developing weapons of mass destruction."

I think the "He needs to let weapons inspectors in" comment is a perfect set up for Sadman Hussein to not agree to, so we can blast his ass out of there.

The Moslems in the Middle East respect strength and despise weakness. Most of them will choose the winning side which is why it is so important to wage total war unto victory. The alternative is millions of dead Americans and Israelis.

If you look at it counterintuitively, only Saddam gives the Saudis any leverage in the West.You may think they are delighting in his trouble, but with him gone, just why should the US care anymore about the House of Saud?hmmmmmm...

Well, the Republic of Amaco would actually be the Republic of BP, which is actually Saudi Arabia.

I haven't cut up my Amaco card yet (I did cut up the BP card they sent me because it didn't change anything other than the card's graphics) but I don't patronize them anymore.

The Brits will stay with us because they know it's the right thing to do. The other EU socialists will stay with us because we are a lion and they are jackals. Notice how, in spite of early tut tutting by France and Germany, both ended up sending troops to Afghanistan (not that they'll do much good). These opportunists can see that we are setting the table for the 21st century, in military affairs, in political alliances, in energy policy and production. They can't afford to stay on the sidelines.
