Atilla is a standard Hungarian name. He's a hero over there. "Atilla Terwilliger" -- I like it! How about "William" for a middle name?

I can't believe no one has advised you against popular names such as Who, He, What, Idontknow, Tomorrow and Idontgiveadarn.

"...the excessive use of 'Madison' (pretentious?) of late..."

Madison for girls, yet. At least, I am familiar with this name used for girls.

Doing family geneology I found some beauts!
Olyampe, Balthasard and Pelagie. Some awful modern ones
that would be even worse with your last name would be: Titania, Wilhemina, Tito ,Rochester or Humphrey. Then there's the one that would horrify them, I think- DARTH!
Grandmas will either stop nagging, or start thinking of 'cutesy' nicknames.

It is a custom of Ashkenaz Jews not to name a baby for someone still alive but Sefardic Jews do not have this custom and it is not uncommon to find, among Sefardim, father and son with the same name.

I encountered a pair of twins that rode the bus to the Vacation Bible School at our church every year. Identical twin girls named Chocolata and Vanilla.

Bartholemew Ogelthorpe:

• Will have to grow up tough with a name like "Bartholemew."
• Can't go by his middle name (Oglethorpe? Ogie?) or he'll have to grow up tough.
• Can't go by his initials (B.O.) or he'll have to grow up tough.

Instead of saying it write it down "Asswipe Terwilliger" (pronounced ahs-wee-pay).

The Jello names are an overused urban legend. I've been hearing it for decades.
