Why the rush to defend? Here is why.

Some have called for the books to be banned from public school libraries and have staged book burnings. The Potter books top the banned book listing for 2000, compiled by the American Library Association.

I hate book-burners. They are the murderers of ideas. I especially dislike those who do not care to read the books they burn and instead rely on paid mercenaries to tell them what to think.
