Kinda fun to watch jarheads fighting amongest themselves. I know. Think we should tell 'em,or wait 15-20 years for them to figure it out for themselves?

Pete--it was the infamous Ribbon Creek Incident whereby several recruits drowned.
Documented fully in both biographies available on General Puller.
Also somewhere on my websites--haven't had my coffee yet, can't find it right now.

Thanx for your response, Marine--appreciated!
Ya don't have to go any further than this board (certain individuals) to see the truth of what you say.
Semper Fidelis!

Wouldn't doubt your word, of course, Joe--but I sure would like to see a reference on that--been looking for it for a while now.
That story is one of the more common explanations, but always w/o a reference provided.

I heard a story once that the working the Marines had trained the working girls in Olangapo City to cry out with a good loud oorah when they (the working girl)reached that most intimate point of their brief relationship with the Marnine.

Hi shipmate I didn't have shipmates OR bunkmates. I like girls, and joined the army.
On the Patriot DVD, the commentary says it was 'huzzah', and during rehearsals, they said, 'wazzup'... 8~)
