No Problem. All they have to do is accept returns only via the US Postal Service. They will irradiate it free of charge.

Yes, well, other than the switch blade incident, Sal Monella was a good egg.

You should have met his sister, Auntie Biotic. I think she expired some years ago, after being bitten by a moose.

Pollio Italian Cheese Company

Isn't the lesson here not to buy cheese from a company named Pollio?

Or, not to name a cheese company after a disease?

Department of Defense contacted the company and the New York Department of Agriculture and Markets when a sample of cheese tested positive for the bacteria

DOD testing cheese? Some new secret cheese bomb? Death by Nachos?

I thought I'd share a tasty recipe with all of you. The ingredients are simple and easy to obtain: Salt, Pepper, Herbs, A Moose Head....

Moose Head Cheese

by Frank Dufresne
Skin out the head, saving all cartilage like the ears and the nose and the lips. Chop into pot-sized chunks and boil until the flesh and cartilage come free. Take out the bones and excess water. Season the rest with salt, pepper, sage and other herbs to taste. Cook until right consistency reached, then pour in pan molds to cool. Then lock the doors to keep out the neighbors.

Oh yas, I've heard that Auntie Biotic and Aunt Thrax didn't get along very well and that Aunt Thrax won the battle almost every time.

Well, win is a relative term. Let us say that she had to adapt.

By the way, since she seemed to pop up everywhere, and was always reading people's mail...around the neighborhood, we used to call her "Ann."

That is, until she took a powder.

Re # 31: I'd suggest locking the door FIRST!

Aluminum foiling over the windows may be a good idea, too.

Also, if I may be so bold...never, never admitting you even know of such a thing.

Unless, of course, you're talking about cheeseless Moosehead Cheese.
