As some of us know, pcl has some strange ideas about the Bible and Catholics. There was a time when he/she/it used the phrase from Christ, "Suffer the children" to justify abortion, believe it or not. Until, of course, the quotation was told to him/her/it in context. I'm not surprised to see this scripture from Numbers used, if that one fails, then he/she/it will find another really lame Biblical reference. And I still see no evidence that this poster was EVER Catholic.

I don't risk the lives of me or my children on a daily basis, in fact I never do. So yes all life is sacred to me.

I looked at the King James Version, and see no mention of abortion or the killing of the fetus.

Meow? What is with this meow? I guess you must have problems with the language--it's a slang term used to say in shorthand that someone is jealous, or being catty.
I am neither one. I simply see no evidence in any of your posts that you were ever Catholic, or that you are a life-long Republican, or that you have grandchildren.
You might want to do some brushing up on your American slang. I'm sure it won't take long.

If it's a birth control patch, wouldn't it work like any other contraceptive, i.e., preventing contraception in the first place? Methinks y'all are screamin' to high heaven over nothing.

In fact, this post to MHGinTN is downright vicious:
"taking a preborn to an abortuary to have scissors jabbed into its skull then its brains sucked out?. Was that good for you? Did you get the right little tingle when you typed those words? Can you type with one hand?"
That was Post 370, by you to MHGinTN
MHGinTN is well-known to be a staunch defender of the pre-born. You seem to find it necessary to make a remark that MHG finds sexual stimulation in a partial birth abortion. I sincerely hope that was just another mixup with the language, like the "meow" remark above. But I doubt it.

"If it's a birth control patch, wouldn't it work like any other contraceptive, i.e., preventing contraception in the first place? Methinks y'all are screamin' to high heaven over nothing." You could read the articles I mentioned in post 256 of this very thread.

You seem to find it necessary to make a remark that MHG finds sexual stimulation in a partial birth abortion. I and many other Free-Choicers believe that people get a sexual thrill when they display images of cut up fetuses or write goulish descriptions of imagined abortion practices.
You may not like it, but that is what is commonly thought. I believe I am being kind to you by letting you know this. I mean, if you had a hunk of snot hanging out of your nose, would you want someone to tell you?

The article that prompted this thread states the patch is similar to birth-control pills. In other words, it is a contraceptive, not an abortificant.

I don't suppose you read "Do Birth Control Pills Cause Abortions" that I mentioned a few hours ago?

I'd like to hear from other pro-abortion folks on this: Do you think that's true? That's the first time I've EVER heard anything like this--I find it outrageous! Do you, as a "Free-Choicer" believe this?
To: pcl; All
I'm seriously asking this question, because pcl made that accusation--and I want to say that when those terrible, sad photos are shown, of the grim reality of abortion, shown to make it crystal clear that a CHILD is being killed, not a "fetus"--that I understand that the CHILD in the photo is a human baby, someone to be grieved, someone who died a very dreadful death...and I cry and pray for them...
Please--tell me if you feel the same as pcl--that people who are pro-life get a sexual thrill from this!

Please--tell me if you feel the same as pcl--that people who are pro-life get a sexual thrill from this!I suggest that you go to a Pro-Choice board and ask that question.
There are not that many Pro-Choicers around here. The few that are here tend to chat amongst themselves on Email.
And you can rest assured that the Pro-Lifers who flash those pictures are not going to admit to that special tingle they get.

You are a sick individual. Just know that someone flashes one of those pictures, many people think the flasher is getting a tingle from their victim's imagined reactions. Not much you can do about that except live with it.
