EUROPE-WIDE ALARM FOR HEROIN CUT WITH ANTHRAX

According to a report broadcast by "Cadena Ser," a private Spanish radio station, laboratory analysts of Europol issued a warning to all drug squads in Europe, alerting the police to the arrival of heroin cut with anthrax, originating from Afghanistan. Traces of anthrax were found in the body of a Norwegian drug addict, who died of an overdose.

I agree with you HappyGal. Let all the idiots kill themselves with anthrax laced heroin. It will get it over with much quicker and save their families and friends a lot of suffering. There are consequences for poor choices.

Loss of life is saddening, however, no one is forcing cocaine up their noses or heroin into their veins. A junkie killing himself by overdose doesn't have quite the tragic ring as a child being ran over by a drunk driver.

Heroin and cocaine are pretty nifty poisons in themselves, with or without the anthrax, veritable Russian roulette with every dose. Pure heroin and cocaine are extremely lethal. You're on your high horse because someone is cutting poison with poison and others don't care because these people CHOOSE to inject themselves with a dangerous substance everyday.

I make no apologies for disliking drug abusers. 'Twas the way I was brought up, and the way I am. I have seen so much distruction by them (in my own little community in Ireland...that frankly, NO!!!! Enough, is Enough!). We all make choices in our lives. We all make decisions about how whether we contribute, or we drop out. GOD GAVE US ALL FREE WILL!!!!! It is we, who make those choices.

So do I cry if the local drug pusher dies from a bad heroin cut? HELL NO!!!! (I may, however, throw a party, for the children in the local primary school who are spared!)

I've seen enough to know, that I completely stand over my original statement. I care less if drug abusers die. They make their own choices...same as I do.

Actually, dopers are part of a "productive" system - a corrupt one. Cycling dopers through the criminal justice system results in money going to judges, prosecuters, defense attorneys, court reporters and others. If they get imprisoned, another group of people get some money. That's why it is difficult to get meaningful punishment for dopers - if we made a deal to exile them to Chad to live in tents and work the fields for about 20 years, we'd benefit, the Chadians would benefit - but the system here wouldn't. Sad.

Well, that will take a lot of US dollars to lace or contaminate with Anthrax. Would be a long time to move around the human's hands. But that does it. I am now using checks and plastic.... ;o)
