"Not everyone, certainly not every part of the country shares the values of the East Coast crowd." That's for sure! -
And it's a good thing that we don't!

I saw the tape. Jennings took it in stride, sorta like he hears it all the time.

I would go so far as to say that the majority of Americans dislike CNN and the the major three networks. The problem is that if you want news you'll most likely get it from one of the above (or perhaps now from Fox News, which is slightly more balanced). Mainstream media is not news, it's propaganda and I'm relieved that more and more Americans are waking up to this fact.

Is Peter Jennings that Canadian TV show host?
To: E.G.C.
Nobody likes Peter JenningsIf it weren't for people like you on FR, I'd not even know he exists. He is irrelevant to my life. Except for football, we never watch the 3 big networks.

Thanks, everybody for your posts. Yeah, Peter Jennings is that T.V. news anchor. I saw ABC-TV's coverage during the week of September 11th. A large part of it anyway and it's obvious why nobody likes him.
Happy Thanksgiving, everybody.Reagrds.

values here in this part of the country where I'm from are a lot different than the values of the East CoastTake note and reflect back on the election map. Conservative values continue to prevail amongst most Americans who live in suburbia. As noted on that map, the largest number of liberal voters is concentrated in the large metropolises. Here in NY state, the same is true. East coast/west coast, there is little difference.

"the big-three networks and cnn." "democrat party propaganda ministry" is more like it. (one wonders where the party line is formulated and then distributed to the talking heads.)
