Strange, isn't it, that when people say that it's okay to hurt an animal because it is not a person...they are using the same argument made by pro-choice folks in reference to the fetus...

Ma'am, if it came down to starving or "stir fry feline" or "sweet-n-sour canine"...well, there would be no "strays" around my house.
It tastes like chicken...
I hear pigeon is pretty good too.

But an unborn human is a human. As Mother Theresa asked, "If it is not a human life, what kind of life is it?"

There is no equivalence between aborting a human and eating meat.
