That'd be a good name for a band
my fertile yet scary brain | 11/20/01 | Xenalyte

Readers of Dave Barry are familiar with this one. When Barry finds a particularly felicitous turn of phrase, he notes that it'd be a good name for a band. (Some examples that come to mind are the Foliage Eaters, the Radioactive Muskrats, Ruth's Hat, the Ozone-Depleting Troglodytes, and one of my favorites, Pinot Noir and His Nuances of Toast.)

So, fellow FReeper Word Mavens and fans of Mr. Language Person, what have you found (both on FR and in your real lives) that would make a good name for a band? (Feel free to include Barry's contributions, if you know any.)

There are some folks who call themselves the Standard Deviants who market language videotapes that are, shall we say, different?

How about an all-Hispanic Polka band in olive-drab tuxedos: Los Accordionistas!

Well, there is a Scottish Salsa band called SalsaCeltica.
