The United States said an unnamed nation may have helped Saudi fugitive Osama Bin Laden develop biological weapons.
"We are concerned that he could have been trying to acquire a rudimentary biological weapons capability, possibly with support from a state," U.S. Undersecretary for Arms Control and International Security John Bolton said at the opening of the United Nations conference on biological warfare.
Bin Laden has threatened to use biological weapons against the United States.
The Bush administration also named Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, and Syria as either possessing biological weapons or having the capability to produce them. The administration said Sudan also seeks biological weapons.
But Bolton highlighted what he termed was Iraq's biological weapons threat. Bolton said the regime of Iraqui Presdient Saddam Hussein has intesified BW development over the last three years.
"Iraq's biological weapons program remains a serious threat to international security," Bolton said. "The United States strongly suspects that Iraq has taken advantage of three years of no UN inspections to improve all phases of its offensive BW program."

The United States said an unnamed nation may have helped Saudi fugitive Osama Bin Laden develop biological weapons.Prediction: We will eventually 'reveal' that it is Iraq. This is a setup to go get Saddam Hussein.

Does anyone seriously think that this had anything to do with right wing nuts?

No one 'needs' a new reason to hit Iraq; I predict all of this lead-in to the revalation that a state sponsored OBL is designed to generate support for an attack on someone much trickier (i.e., Syria, North Korea or maybe Iran)

Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, and Syria.
Do not forget Chinese and Russian Nationalists operating outside the framework of their civilian governments (the ruse governments). Tie trade and aid to this cause.
We need to tie Chinese and Russian support of these states to trade and the export of US$$. We all know this is the modern axis power that would seek to destroy or weaken America via proxy.

I hope it is Iraq, just to keep things simple. I am concerned about the can of worms we are about to open if it turns out to be N. Korea.

I'm still of the belief that the anthrax was released in a well-coordinated test of the U.S.'s reaction and defenses.
Maybe mixed with one or two whacko copycats.
And I still keep one eye open on the possibility that these crimes are being perpetrated by 'someone' far more threatening than OBL and his folks.

Maybe blaming right wingers is part of Bushs'coalition building.
