FUBU is one of the great marketing ploys of all time. Principals claim that since line is marketed by blacks for blacks, it is more "authentic." White kids want this "authentic" look, so they buy it in droves. Meanwhile, their sister dress like Britney Spears and give "Monicas" in the interest of preserving their virginity.

There is a not so endearing term, that I will not post (because I love reading FR and don't want to get warned/bannished) but it is used to refer to white boys who dress/act black.

There are way too many 'lables' these kids try to be. Some want to be urban legends (in their own minds) and act like boyz from the hood; some want to wear white pancake, black lipstick and chains and be a goth; the girls are trying to be Britney wannabes (and some literally starving themselves to achieve the look). Its no wonder why SAT scores are dipping.
