Your donation money is going to Leftest causes: ethnic media, children's rights, gun control, extended welfare programs! Please contact UNITED WAY and let them know your outrage! This money was given to the victim's families, not a myriad of Leftest causes!

Please contact UNITED WAY and let them know your outrage! Better yet, e this info to O'Reilly and let him expose them. He's tenacious and won't let the subject drop.

People have to understand that the UW is a leftist organization, pure and simple.

I never understood why United Way (which has a history of siphoning money off for other causes and upper management bonuses) was a middle man in so many 9-11 donations.
Originally I donated to the UW at work, dedicating my pledge to specific causes I supported. When I learned that UW would offset those dedicated pledges out of the general fund I changed my attitude. As I understand it, charities that are "excluded" from donations are brought up to "par" with "general fund" donations (while the blind and deaf charaties I gave to get slighted some $$$ because I committed money to them). I also asked for my donation to be anonymous (I didn't need to acknowledgement and didn't need to be solicited by other charities). I still received a "thank you" card (which, in itself had to cost something).

O'Reilly has been poking at these charities for 6 weeks and these guys are so stupid as to ignore this. They think it's business as usual, which of course puts their "usual business" squarely on the agenda. Charities will now become the objects of investigation for their shady practices and questionable payments.

Since 9/11 another charity has come to my attention: the Christian Children's Fund of Richmond, Va. Someone who worked there advised that her boss - a Moslem - would not permit employees to display flags or patriotic sentiments. She said the organization keeps adding high-ranking, highly-paid executives who do nothing, thus increasing administrative costs. Further, she said, the organization has been discussing removing "Christian" from its name, considering its work has absolutely nothing to do with the gospel and it has such a large number of Moslems working for it. They finally decided to continue calling themselves the Christian Children's Fund only because they knew Christians would stop donating the hundreds of millions of dollars if they didn't give the appearance of doing religious work. Does anyone know anything about this group? I have a feeling it's another UW or ARC - started with good intentions, but now benefiting executives more than the people it should be serving.

This is what happens when we make decisions based on our feelings.
When we blindly follow, like giving money to the Sept. 11 fund,
when we blindly believe that those in power will do what we want them to do with our money,
or when we blindly follow the party line....
