I am a Protestant and I have never heard of him. From the looks of what is posted him attributed to him I would call him a Pharisee. He looks to be one of those "Lord, didn't I do this or that in your name" folks. I don't agree with a lot of Catholic doctrine but to promote killing them ( referring to the tract above )??? The differences we have in doctrine does NOT in any way support killing one another....

If one assumes that Harry Potter and other childrens' stories that include wizardry and magic are evil and should be banned, then we would have to throw out many of the best childrens' fantasies of the ages. At least Harry Potter promotes loyalty, friendship, bravery and truth, and emphasizes the worth of people who are different or disadvantaged. I saw the Harry Potter movie over the weekend and I liked it. I also read the book. I suppose that I will be doubly damned next month when I go to the Lord of the Rings movie. Sheesh!

Children using their imaginations--horrible! Of course, I once thought that by using a mere towel and diaper pin, I could indeed fly off the top of the garage just like Superman. Of course, I failed, and attributed my failure to the lack of the big "S" on my leotard. Even at my advanced age, I still believe that given the right clothing, I could indeed fly off the top of the garage to save Metropolis.

BTW, on the way back from Florida, I saw a cloud that looked like Goofy in profile. I thought it was appropos.

Guys, you really take another look at the Harry Potter Books. Because in the Harry Potter Books, magic is treated NOT as a religion. But as a skill or trade to be learned and mastered.

Am personally, I liked the movie, it was great and I CAN'T wait to see Fellowship of the Rings, Lord of the Rings.
