Memo to Bill: Stay Away

Yonkers: As someone involved in and affected by the events of Sept. 11, I have a request for former President Bill Clinton: Please do not attend any event that involves the members of the New York City Fire Department. Do not attend any memorial service, concert or other gathering. And, most importantly, do not set foot on that hallowed site known as Ground Zero.

In my opinion (and it is one shared by most of my FDNY brethren), Mr. Clinton is the single individual in this country most responsible for the events of that infamous day. His emasculation of the military and our intelligence agencies contributed significantly to the evil perpetrated on so many innocent Americans.

Please also forward this request to his spouse and their treacherous coterie of blame-America-firsters, multiculturalists and anti-military elitists. Also, tell him that he has finally discovered his legacy: It sits as a smoldering ruin at Liberty and West Sts.

This warmed my heart.

Mine too. When I began reading the letter, I thought it was a joke (by a FReeper). Then, a bit later, I realized it was real. Then I felt shock at the Lt.'s bravery. He is bound to get flak, and has taken a risk by writing such a (well-written, succint) letter. I am proud of him for declaring his beliefs. And that kind of bravery encourages others who, otherwise, may not come forth.

Great idea... I'd love to do the same. I'd say it took quite a bit of courage for Lt. McCaffrey to have his opinions of the Clintons (shared by thousands of Americans) published in a paper as widely-read as The Daily News.

Oh, ouch!!! Thanks for the ping, I might have missed this. Take a poll and ask the public: Do you agree or disagree with Lt. McCaffrey. We know what the results would be. I'm glad he said it--straight from a hero's mouth.

Two of the reason I love God is that He loves truth and justice. How many of us thought it would be almost immediately after leaving office that the truth about Bill Clinton would be revealed?

This is almost better than we could have dreamed of, isn't it? There's no way they can make themselves 'victims' of the VRWC. They have just been rebuked by heroes. And I get the feeling they are just beginning to reap the 'rewards' that they have sown, and that the 'best' is yet to come, even here on earth.

What is in store for them after that is going to be far worse, barring true repentance.
