The editorial is great and very succinct, but unless I am wrong, it only ran in the on-line Daily News. If it only ran in the on-line version, it is next to worthless, because very few sheeple surf the net or even read for that matter. Please correct me if I am wrong.

How can anyone who has seen what our military has done to the Taliban think that our military became "emasculated" under Clinton?

It is you who should get more information. I served in the Army under Clinton, Bush Sr. and Reagan, and the years under Clinton were the worst. The worst for retention, morale and readiness.

What you are seeing in Afganistan is a VERY SMALL subset of the military. So, Yehudi, take your own advise and get informed before you spout.
