The card may not be worn there, but that certainly is where the biometric data is gathered from! Think retnal scan and thumbprint, then recall that the Revelation 13 passage about the mark of the beast was written in the late first century, where John had very little understanding of the technology that he was prophetically shown. It isn't a big leap in logic to presume that these biometric marks are what he was referring to. Time will tell though.

As for me...no way...no retnal scan, no thumbprint for any such ID card. Considering that those who accept thsi mark are irrevocably damned...well...wouldn't be prudent.

Getting a retnal scan is hardly accepting the "mark". The nation ID card I will oppose but accept if passed. The Mark, any mark upon my body I will not accept period.

Not to be needlessly apocalyptic, but those supermarket and pharmacy "discount" cards have been scaled down to about two inches long with a hole to slip a keyring through. It doesn't take a genius to figure out that this would also fit on a bracelet or watchband.

Notice the logic though - Because foreign Islamic terrorists have waged a campaign of terror EVERY normal American will now be the target of tracking and surveillance. What a crock! And a waste of tax dollars.

I didn't read ALL these replies to see if this was mentioned, but yesterday I saw a thread about how they will use the registration for the Smallpox vacine to gather all our info.

Then, using nano-chips they can imbed/implant all this info when they administer the vaccine.

I think I'll take my chances that my original vaccination is still good!

My Ga drivers licence has my thumb print,Im sure my entire record,It a big bar code thats how I know.They did ask if I wanted a differant ID # instead of my SS #.

If I'm not mistaken, there is a little matter of swearing allegiance to a Leader of some kind, i.e. the AntiChrist. A National ID card, retinal scan or thumbprint wouldn't qualify if they were implemented now, as the AntiChrist has not yet made his appearance. It's when he says you must take this mark in order to be able to buy or sell that it becomes an issue of your eternal fate. We're not there yet.

By your logic, perhaps you and many others have already taken this mark and didn't even know it. In two states that I've lived in over the past few years, both have required a thumbprint scan to receive a driver's license. Do you have a driver's license? Have you ever had anything notrized? In CA, you are required to provide your thumbprint to a notary public in addition to other pieces of proof of your indentity.

For your sake, I hope le prophet John wasn't off the 'mark when he recorded his prophesy. If so, there will be a lot of pissed people on judgement day who will be whining about being denied entry into paradise because of a thumbprint, and not because they took any kind of literal mark on the forehand or hand.
