Just like Reagan. Of course Klinton had no concept of this. W is basically cleaning up after 8 years of "PC politics". Klinton's policy was if you can get away with doing nothing then do nothing. Of course talk like your going to do something but do nothing.

This is great news! I love Rumsfeld -- just don't see how he puts up with the moron questions he gets everyday from the children in the DoD press corps. If it wasn't for Jamie McIntyre, Ricks (WP), and the guy's name I can't spell -- Mikilisheski (sp), then the number of intellilgent questions would be almost nil!

Thanks for the heads up!

Why didn`t we take out Saddam back in `91 when we on his back doorstep? One often cited reason is the assurance GBI got from the Arab leaders and the CIA that the Bath Party regime would collapse in the wake of the Kuwait rout. This is not an excuse. Indeed, President Bush's words at the time were widely viewed as encouraging rebellion against Baghdad. More aid should have been provided to the Shiites and Kurds. However, Dubya will come through for the Iraqi people.

The Rumsfeld/Myers Pentagon has been very good about keeping strategic and tactical planning secret. If Bill Gertz' name wasn't attached to the sourcing, I would disregard it out of hand. Be that as it may, after the example of Afghanistan, Iraq (and maybe others) are ripe for toppling. The anti-terror forces will be tremendously energized. The paper tiger regimes will have little confidence in their traditional tools of repression and control. Finally, the role played by Turkey in the anti-terror war certainly merits special consideration to their economic and security concerns. Keep on rollin!

I wish the media would stop conjecturing and broadcasting plans. Mop up Afghanistan first and take Saddam Hussein by surprise!
Ooops! I guess it's too late for that plan!

The United States plans to launch a campaign to oust Saddam Hussein in Iraq as part of the international campaign against terrorism. The plan calls for U.S. aerial bombing to support anti-Saddam opposition forces in the country. I truly hope so.

>>>As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.I suppose someone could look at that and say that God was bad because He loved one and not the other. However, they would be ignoring that God sees the end from the beginning and knows who will choose Him. Jacob chose to follow God and Esau chose to despise his birthright and God knew that ahead of time. The blessings and cursings, of course, go down generations.
