I heard the same report. I heard the analyst state that they presumed the Taliban would go into the hills, from where they'd conduct a guerilla warfare campaign.

Good if they run for the hills. Their communications will belimited and easy to track. If they try to stick toghether to minimize radio or satelite phone chatter our radar and planes will spot them and pick them off by the bunch.

In the hills there would be little for them shoot at. To come out of the hills, they could be easily spotted by our forces both on the ground and in the air. Then comes in arclight or a daisy cutter or puff. I think their guerilla war is an idle boast.

Leaders have fled. Taliban is heading for the hills cause there is nowhere else to go. They can't survive long there unless they can be supplied with food and munitions. GW was right. Smoke them out of their holes and get them on the run. We must track down the leaders and bring them to "justice" or hanging will do okay also.
