If this is an accurate post of what was on Drudge, requiring news outlets cite him, when he was completely wrong is absolutely pathetic. Not to diss someone, but to scoop this and be so wrong -- even the NY Times reports Bush won. This is really sad.
Ex-President Bush spokesman says 1424 disconnected chads were found on floor after latest recount
In what has become an annual November tradition, Democrat party stalwarts and Liberal media pundits have announced the latest recount of the disputed 2000 election. As in the past, more votes were found to have been miscounted denying Ex-President-in-exile Albert Gore Jr., his rightful place in history.
"It is absolutely amazing how many ballots were disguised or hidden by the evil Republican operatives who sabotaged the election count," a Spokesman for the Gore campaign stated. "Along with their unindicted co-conspirators on the Supreme Court, these traitors diverted history and unconstitutionally denied President Gore his rightful retirement benefits!"
A retired Bush staffer, with a bored yawn asked, "How many free chads are found on the floor after every one of these recounts? I hear they swept up 1424 this year."
The Gore compaign chairman denied the chad count, stating, "I do not believe that. I saw those 'chads' and they looked more like bread crumgs to me. Besides, those ballots are practically swathed in scotch tape to keep the loose Gore chads in place I doubt any chads could fall out now."
A spokes person for the Broward County Elections Office Museum said the problem of chad fallout was being addressed by a plan to encase each ballot in a half inch block of bullet proof lexan plastic. "We are concerned with the damage the ballots have received in the last15 years and 42 recounts. Some of those ballots have so many creases they look like they have been through a war! We think the lexan will allow the recounters to continue their hobby for at least another 25 years."
President Cheney's office had no comment.

The Gore compaign chairman denied the chad count, stating, "I simply don't believe that. I saw what they are calling 'chads' and they looked like bread crumbs. Besides, those ballots are practically swathed in scotch tape to keep any loose Gore chads in place. I really doubt any chads could fall out now. That janitor is a Republican Operative!" Matt Drudge, in an exclusive report on his Internet web site, reproduced the Janitor's voter registration card proving he is an illegal alien registered as a Democrat. A press release reitterating the democrat position added that the janitor has an uncle who once voted Republican and is therefore still suspect.

Hmmm, good call! I think you are right! I am sure he did the headline to get some publicity for his talk show this evening as well, but you are correct, and the headlines of the rest of the media pretty much bare this out.
I agree. The SCOTUS **vacated** the SCOFLA ruling that ordered the extension of the filing deadline. Harris should have immedialtely amended the certification.
