This is my first post, I'll point that out from the beginning. But as to my view of this nonsense, I think its perfect. We are at war and the media wants to put out possibly the most divisive thing possible, plus its not even accurate, over-votes never count last time I checked. If I was a Liberal i'd get ready for the backfire, what do they ezpect to happpen when a president has 90% approval, the dim-wits killed themselves.

Did they include illegal ballots from immigrants and felons?

Since the answer is 'yes' to both questions, the headline should read:

I saw a TV report, I wish I could remeember where, that was broadcast just after the whole mess was decided where a reporter got hold of one of the voting machines and some cards and tried to make a dimpled or hanging chad.

Brian Williams of MSNBC of all people was the person who proved that you couldn't make a dimpled chad with one voting card.

You're just a little off...let me help you out. In other words, if illegal votes are counted ONLY IN FLORIDA.

Good point. I also forgot to say that, in addition to counting illegal votes in order to achieve this outcome, they had to not count LEGAL votes - i.e. those of overseas military.

They haven't yet said what counting standards were used. The earlier recount reports said that only when you use the most liberal counting standard did Gore win. If this report says the same thing, then it is all bogus.

If the report says that they used the rigorous standard of counting votes, then it is still bogus since the rigorous standard discards invalid ballots such as undervotes and overvotes.

Actually, this doesn't look as bad as I thought it would. The implication here is that overvotes put Gore over the top, but David Boies said in front of SCOTUS that Gore didn't want overvotes to be counted. Not to mention that an overvote is not a legal vote in Florida or(to the best of my knowledge) any State of the Union. So, by the rules set on Election Day, Bush won Florida and the Presidency. And he also won by Gore's teams standards in their legal fight. In other words, nothing has changed...except for the increased whining we'll hear from demonrats, liberals and commies and their cronies in the media.
