Thank you for the update, BADJOE. I've been watching for one.

It is so hard to deal with senseless tragedy, especially when it concerns someone who was loved by so many people. That's okay. Whoever did this is going to find out they can't get away with it. There are too many FReeper prayers going up, crying out for justice.

The fire dept. has stated conclusively that it was arson but will not elaborate to anyone.

Arsonist: another Evildoer added to The List.... This person took away our privilege to thank one of our favorite FReeper veterans today for his service to our country.

I also think about Chief and his family so often these days. I can't help but think about the devastation of losing a spouse but at such a time in this world when we need those close to us so much. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and I sincerely hope they will find comfort again one day. I think it will be a long time but at least know many strangers do care.
